Call of Duty: Warzone is once again going through radical changes. Raven Software recently delivered Call of Duty: Warzone's Season Two Reloaded, a mid-season update that made sweeping changes across the battle royale. As Call of Duty fans are well aware by now, however, sweeping changes often come with unforeseen issues. Season Two Reloaded is no different. A nerf to sniper rifle headshot damage is confirmed to have been more severe than intended, but Raven has already taken action.
In a message shared on Twitter, Raven Software confirmed feedback from Call of Duty: Warzone players regarding changes that had nerfed sniper rifle headshot damage. It seems that sniper rifle headshot damage had been nerfed in a way that Raven did not want, however. As such, Raven has pushed a small update that brings sniper rifle headshot damage back in line with what it would like in Warzone's standard battle royale mode.

An explanation for the issue wasn't provided. However, it's easy to see what the problem was. Following the Season Two Reloaded update, sniper rifles were no longer killing enemies in a single headshot. This is a staple aspect of Call of Duty's action, particularly in multiplayer. As such, Call of Duty: Warzone players obviously took issue and, at the very least, wanted clarification from Raven regarding whether or not this new sniper rifle damage amount was intended.
