After a brief window of optimism, the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies community is back to being disappointed. Sadly, the latest issue is making the mode impossible to play, as severe visual glitches are impacting Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies players on every platform.
Treyarch’s 115 Day post had Zombies fans more optimistic than they had been in a long time, but it is quickly starting to seem like those high hopes have faded away once again. Not only did the round-based objective turn out to be a disappointment, as players only fight through the main hut on Shi No Numa, but more issues have been making regular gameplay difficult. In particular, visual glitches are appearing in Der Anfang, ruining the aesthetic of the map and making it difficult for players to see where they are going.

In a clip shared by Reddit user SecretlyHiddenSelf, the sky above the Stalingrad hub area is shown completely bugging out. Pointy textures can be seen growing larger and fading away, with the map’s skybox becoming completely unrecognizable due to all the jagged edges. Unfortunately, this is a bug Call of Duty: Warzone fans are more than a bit familiar with. Dubbed the demon texture bug, the broken textures have impacted everything from weapons and character models to entire buildings.
Recently, the demon texture glitch came to Call of Duty: Vanguard, and now it has become clear that the Zombies community is not safe from the problem.
