As expected, this has caused the community to become frustrated. To address concerns, Activision has issued a statement and provided fans with some clarity on the state of Call of Duty.
The statement acknowledges the calls to fix the game, and affirms that the developers are on the situation. We are told that updates are being deployed as fast as possible for Call of Duty: Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, and Modern Warfare 2019.
In a thread, the statement is followed up with a brief list. It explains what has been fixed in Warzone Pacific and in Vanguard, and what further fixes are to come. In terms of Warzone Pacific, invisible skins are being investigated. Also, freezing when accessing a buy station is being worked on and it will hopefully become a distant memory. Apart from the bugs and glitches that have become a commonplace in Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games are working on shotgun and Incendiary Round nerfs. Moreover, fundamentals of multiplayer such as perks, matchmaking, game modes, and more will receive tuning.
So far, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 fans have received nothing but radio silence. Although this title was included in the statement, we are not informed on what specific problems are being worked on.
