Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is bringing back the fan favorite Gunfight mode as part of its Season 3 content, as recently confirmed by Activision. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is live now, and while there have been some issues since the update went live, it seems many fans have generally been enjoying the new content.

With Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 having just gone live, it will be quite some time before Season 3 rolls around. A sizable mid-season update is expected to drop before then, and while full details on what that will entail are unavailable at the time of this writing, it will include a brand-new multiplayer map.
