FFVII Ever Crisis is teaming up with Monster Hunter in a claws-out collab that starts May 30, 2024, at 7 PM PDT! Imagine Cloud facing off against the mighty Rathalos, king of the skies. Or picture Tifa rocking a new spiky-gauntleted look. The trailer hints at these battles and more, with Zack, Aerith, and even Cait Sith getting Monster Hunter makeovers.

This is about something other than looking good (though Zack’s weapon might be a bit much). There will be battles, possibly in a new arena, and other activities that they will be revealing soon.

Cloud trades his soldier gear for a stunning Glavenus armor set suit. He can even inflict damage with the Scorching Blazer, a huge sword that looks like the Glavenus Greatsword. Zack Fair gets his own makeover, wearing clothes resembling Zinogre. And carrying a bigger version of the Usurper’s Lightning Charge Blade.

The video showed that Tifa will wear the beautiful Kirin armor set and that Aerith will get a flowery change based on the Wyverian girls’ clothes from Monster Hunter Rise. Cait Sith and his fuzzy friend add Monster Hunter styles to their outfits, now donning Palico and Palamute gear.
