Alongside Pitt, the ensemble cast for Bullet Train includes Joey King, Andrew Koji, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Masi Oka, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny and Sandra Bullock. Development on the film was first announced in mid-2020 when Deadpool 2's David Leitch signed on to helm and produce the adaptation with his wife and production partner Kelly McCormick and Antoine Fuqua and Pitt attached to star the following month. Production on Bullet Train would run from October 2020 to the following March and is gearing up to hit theaters in July.
