Warning: the following contains SPOILERS for The Book of Boba Fett.
The Book of Boba Fett has finally revealed the person behind the modded cyborgs on Mos Espa, and the character is played by an actor who might be familiar to some fans of the Star Wars franchise. Indeed, surprising cameo appearances from both Star Wars characters and other famous people in the real world are to be expected in The Book of Boba Fett. In the case of The Book of Boba Fett season 1, episode 4 “Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm,” one famous musician's cameo also serves as their acting debut in the Star Wars universe.
The said episode sees Boba (Temuera Morrison) emerging from a bacta tank seemingly for the last time, as a droid congratulates the Mos Espa daimyo for finally fully healing from his injuries due to the sarlacc pit. As with the prior episodes, Boba's time in the bacta tank leads to dreams and flashbacks to before Boba took on a leadership role in Mos Espa, with extensive scenes of Boba roaming the deserts of Tattooine. This includes scenes that explain how Boba found and saved the life of former Imperial assassin Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), whom Boba found with a stomach wound and left for dead in the sand. Boba saves Fennec's life by bringing her to the mod artist who seems to be responsible for the cybernetic enhancements on the Mods that Boba hired in The Book of Boba Fett season 1, episode 3 «Chapter 3: The Streets of Mos Espa.» As Fennec is brought back to life, Boba earns a powerful new ally, and it's all thanks to the mod artist.
