The producers of the 25th entry in the Bond franchise, No Time To Die, reveal that they had a mock-up script written to avoid ruining the film's ending. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time To Die saw Daniel Craig return for his fifth and final outing as iconic superspy James Bond. He was joined by recurring cast members Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, and Christoph Waltz, who reprised his role as the villainous Blofeld from 2015's Spectre. New additions to the cast included Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, and Rami Malek, who played the film's primary antagonist, Lyutsifer Safin.
The story of No Time To Die focuses on Craig's 007 after he quits active service with MI6 to live a peaceful life in Jamaica. However, his tranquility is short-lived, as an old friend from the CIA comes knocking on his door and asking for help to retrieve a kidnapped scientist. The mission takes Bond on a treacherous path which eventually leads to a showdown with a powerful enemy in possession of dangerous new biotechnology. After numerous delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was finally released in theatres last October, which in the process made Craig's tenure as Bond the longest of any actor who played the role.
