Bodies Bodies Bodies stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha'la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace, and Pete Davidson. Sarah DeLappe penned the screenplay based on the story by Kristen Roupenian, and Halina Reijn (Red Light) is directing the slasher comedy.
Deadline reveals that Bodies Bodies Bodies totaled $226,5K over its weekend limited release in New York City and Los Angeles. The film had a $37,75K average per theater, which marks the second-best limited release average of the year so far after A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once which had an impressive $50K theater average for its opening weekend. The film saw its highest individual day on Friday, with $94,7K in box office sales, followed by $71,2K on Saturday, and $60,5K on Sunday.

A24 has had a very successful year so far, including Everything Everywhere All at Once becoming the first A24 film to gross over $100 million. Viewers will have to continue following whether Bodies Bodies Bodies will maintain its momentum from its strong opening limited release into the wide release happening next weekend, in which the film will be available to watch at 1,200 locations.
