A new Honest Trailer highlights the plentiful cameos that acted as "reinforcements" in the latter half of The Book of Boba Fett. The show stars Temuera Morrison as long-time fan favorite Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as elite assassin Fennec Shand. Morrison revived Boba in season 2 of The Mandalorian, where the ex-bounty hunter retrieved his armor and helped Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) get his foundling Grogu («Baby Yoda») back from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). His revival in the series left several questions amongst viewers, but most wanted to know just one thing: How did Boba survive the Sarlacc pit? A post-credits scene at the end of The Mandalorian season 2 announcing The Book of Boba Fett proved that this question and many more would be answered.
The series answered these questions in the first 4 episodes with flashbacks whenever Boba soaked in his bacta tank for healing. When he wasn't in a flashback, Boba was seen in the late Jabba's palace and Mos Espa attempting to become a crime lord alongside Fennec Shand. Boba's flashbacks reminded him of the importance of having a tribe as he recalled his years spent with the Tuskens, while his present-day moments showed his struggle to apply that lesson to his current life. The fifth episode of the series, however, took a sharp turn as it added someone else to the starring list: Pascal as Din. «Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian» was dedicated entirely to the now-beloved character, and he stayed alongside Boba and Fennec in the last 2 episodes of the series. Other characters who appeared in the latter half included Peli Motto, Ahsoka Tano, Grogu, Luke Skywalker, Cad Bane, and Cobb Vanth.
