Currently, the video game industry is in the midst of a remake, remaster, and reimagining eruption. With the remake of Resident Evil 4 coming soon, along with others of this ilk, such as Dead Space and The Last Of Us: Part 1, the opportunity to use new technology and more modern development techniques to revive old games has never been more golden. Bloodborne is another title that some feel could do with the remaster treatment, but however much fans would like one, it looks as though it's not happening. At least not for the time being.
That's according to a tweet from renowned Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier. Recently, he responded to someone on Twitter who asked him when he would be leaking information about a supposed upcoming Bloodborne remaster. Schreier simply responded that he could not leak «what doesn't exist.» This has left people in the comments convinced that there is no such remaster in the works.

While neither developer FromSoftware nor publisher Sony have ever confirmed that the game was being reconditioned, it didn't stop rumors from flying. Last year, some fans began to believe that a remastered version of Bloodborne was in development and was being helmed by Bluepoint Games, who have worked on such projects as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection. While fans may be disappointed about Schreier's response, it doesn't mean the game won't get a remaster at some point, but there are apparently currently no official plans.
