If you are a customer of the State Bank of India (SBI) and have lost your SBI debit card then you can know that the bank provides the facility to block the SBI ATM cum debit card via phone calls, SMS, and internet banking. In order to block your SBI ATM cum debit card via a text message, you will have to send an SMS from your registered mobile number as 'BLOCK<space>last four digits of the card to 567676. 1. Dial 1800 1234 or 1800-2100.
2. In order to block the SBI card, you need to press 2.
3. You will then have to enter the last 5 digits of the account number to block the card.
4. On following the above mentioned steps accurately, your card will be successfully blocked and a confirmation will be sent through SMS to your registered mobile number.
1. You will have to login to www.onlinesbi.com with your username and password.
2. Under the "e-Services" tab select "ATM Card Services>Block ATM Card" link .
3. Select the Account, under which you want to block your ATM cum Debit Card.
4. All the Active and blocked cards will be displayed. You will be shown the first 4 and last 4 digits of the card(s).
5. Select the Card, you wish to block and click "Submit". You need to verify the details and confirm.
