Black-ish star Anthony Anderson celebrates his college graduation. The actor and comedian is known for his many film and television appearances over the years, garnering a whopping 11 Primetime Emmy nominations as an executive producer and star of Black-ish. Created by Kenya Barris, the ABC sitcom follows Anderson as a wealthy advertising executive who wishes to intertwine a balance of black culture with his family's upper-middle-class life. Black-ish also stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, and Marsai Marton.
Other than Black-ish, Anderson is also known for his own short-lived sitcom, All About the Andersons, and The Bernie Mac Show. Other than sitcoms, Anderson is known for his leading roles in police procedurals like K-Ville,The Shield, and Law & Order. Outside of television, Anderson has had supporting roles in various feature films, such as Me, Myself & Irene, Kangaroo Jack, Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London,The Departed, Transformers, andScream 4. But now, Anderson is making headlines for an achievement unrelated to his onscreen performances.

In a video posted to Instagram, Anthony Anderson announced his graduation from Howard University. The 51-year-old Black-ish star began his post with a Notorious B.I.G. lyric, "IT WAS ALL A DREAM!" and went on to say the milestone has "literally been 30 years in the making." In the video, Anderson also revealed his NSFW nickname listed on his diploma. Check out his post below:
