Though it’s been a few years, fans of Below Deck will certainly remember deckhand Kyle Dixon. During his two seasons on the show, Kyle became known for his romantic relationship troubles, strong Northern English accent, and his colorful past. Since leaving Valorand Captain Lee Rosbach, what has Kyle been up to?
A former British soldier and father, Kyle worked as a traveling bartender before he decided to change from land venues to ocean vessels (via BravoTV). He first joined Below Deck season 4, episode 5, “The Freak Comes Out at Knight,” as a replacement deckhand. Initially charismatic and charming, Kyle proved to be a valuable asset to the crew of Valor, who didn't take himself too seriously. He was quickly embroiled in relationship drama on the yacht as he tried to unsuccessfully pursue fellow crew member Sierra Storm, despite his ongoing relationship with his girlfriend. As his stay on the crew continued, Kyle became disliked by many fans due to his inability to handle rejection and sometimes nearly abusive treatment of fellow crew members. These aspects only became worse in his late return in season 5 of the show and his treatment of stew, Jen Howell.

His first departure from Below Deck marked many changes for Kyle. Between the end of season 4 and his sudden reappearance near the end of season 5 due to tensions between fellow crew members Nico Scholly and EJ Jansen, Kyle's relationship with fiancée Ashley reportedly ended in a messy way, leaving him single. He also had had another child and was now the proud father of two daughters. At the time of rejoining the crew, he was still trying to restart his relationship with his daughters’ birth mother.
