Below Deck Down Under: Aesha Scott Compares Captain Jason To Sandy Yawn
The very first season of Below Deck Down Under is airing in a couple of days and Chief Stew Aesha Scott shares how Captain Jason Chambers is different than Below Deck Mediterranean’s Captain Sandy Yawn. Below Deck fans may remember Aesha from Below Deck Mediterranean season 4 where she worked under Hannah Ferrier as the second stew. Aesha returned for Below Deck Med season 5 after Hannah was fired for having undocumented medication on the boat. Stewardess Bugsy Drake was promoted to Chief Stew and Aesha came to fill her role as second stew.
Aesha has moved up in the ranks and is now the chief stew on the upcoming Peacock series Below Deck Down Under. She will be working alongside Captain Jason on a yacht that will take charter guests on an amazing experience along the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Along with the usual sunbathing on the deck and beach picnics, guests will get to snorkeling and scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean. Aesha will be the only familiar face on Below Deck Down Under, with the rest of the crew being new to the screen. Captain Jason has already made waves for being the youngest one to take the helm on the Below Deck franchise and fans have swooned over his good looks.

In a recent interview with E! News, Aesha revealed what makes Captain Jason so special and unlike other captains she’s worked with. “He’s so hands on and part of the team and he’s just like a big brother and I think he just brought a completely different vibe to the season.” Aesha compared him to Captain Sandy, who she described as “traditional” and similar to most captains she’d worked with in the past. “You’ve worked your way up, there’s a hierarchy, you kind of
