Bella Thorne has issued a response to the repeated fan insults she receives and the claims that she's controversial. Thorne is an actress, model, and singer who rose to prominence because of her role as Cece Jones on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up. Following Shake It Up, Thorne has gone on to appear in a number of movies and series, such as The DUFF, The Babysitter, Midnight Sun, Blended, and Scream: The TV Series. Outside of her work in film and TV, Thorne has also created a number of hit songs, including the likes of «Up In Flames,» «Walk With Me,» «TTYLXOX,» «Burn So Bright,» and «Just Call».
Thorne has also frequently found herself the subject of various controversies over the course of her career. In addition to directing a porn film and finding herself at the center of a nude photo scandal, the actor joined OnlyFans in 2020, a subscription-based service where fans can pay money to get access to exclusives from creators. The move was controversial because the website is frequently associated with the sharing of pornographic material and Thorne's involvement (which was apparently done as research for a movie with Sean Baker) was said to take away from the plight of the many sex workers who depend upon the site for their income.
