The Joker is one of DC Comics' most fashionable villains. His style is iconic, easily recognizable, and largely consistent. However, he has also had some outfits that are incredibly wild, including one story where he traded his usual suit for sorcerer's robes.
In 1994, Joker was featured in an Elseworlds story that gave him and Batman different origins and incredibly different appearances. Even their abilities were different, since in this story Joker is an evil sorcerer. Batman: Dark Joker — The Wild imagines the titular hero and his classic foe in a fantasy world full of magic. Batman and Joker face each other in combat, as is usual, but very little else is of the norm here.

Batman: Dark Joker — The Wild has the creative team of Doug Moench, Kelley Jones, John Beatty, Les Dorscheid, and Todd Klein. Within it, Joker maintains his purple color scheme for his clothing, as well as his green hair and pale complexion. However, the style of his costume is rather different as the villain adopts sorcerer's robes. While some aspects of the look are similar, particularly the garments underneath the exterior robe and the bow tie embellishment, this is largely a bizarre fashion statement for the Joker. However, his evil still knows very few bounds, leaving his twisted personality intact.
Joker's robes are incredibly long, and his collar is excessively high, but none of this outfit interferes with his ability to murder people and cause chaos throughout the land.
