The latest patch for is a relatively minor hotfix to mend some bugs in the game but one improvement should come as a welcome fix for players tired of hearing Minthara gossip about Gale. Once players recruit both of the aforementioned characters, it's made clear that there's no love lost between the Drow Paladin and the Human Wizard. This general distrust manifests itself as snide comments and general distrust but one particular line of dialogue eventually began to irk players, especially when Minthara goes on about it endlessly.
Fortunately, over on Steam Larian Studios confirmed that Hotfix #22 fixes the issue, preventing Minthara from «repeating her thoughts about Gale in Act 3.» This is specifically in relation to one scenario where Minthara would continually talk about Gale as if he were around in Act 3 despite players choosing to leave him behind in the game's first chapter. Additionally, she also used to continually talk about dissuading the Wizard from blowing himself up with magic even if he'd already agreed to find a different solution to the problem faced in Elminster's scheme.
Aside from fixing Minthara's irritating bug, the latest update also brings with it several adjustments to 's UI and eliminates several crashes, particularly on Xbox. Additionally, Hotfix #22 comes bundled with Hotfix #20 and #21 for Xbox users, meaning players on Microsoft's console are now as up-to-date as users on PC. Another major bug that's been squashed is one that saw players becoming stuck at the top of Moonrise Towers if they managed to successfully sneak into the Mind Flayer Colony, an issue that's often been encountered by the community.
Since launched on Xbox, players on the console have struggled with cloud saves. Hotfix #22 has now fixed that issue.
