After 20 years and several spin-offs, Baldur's Gate 3 is finally happening! While players have been enjoying an early-access release on PC for a couple of years now, the full game at last has a finalised release date.
Better yet, the hotly-anticipated Dungeons and Dragons-based RPG is also releasing on PS5, so console players can get in on the role-playing fun later this year.
Since its early-access launch in 2020, the game has gone from strength to strength and more new features have been confirmed ahead of its full release. With a console version comes full controller support and JK Simmons is even in it!
There's a lot to look forward to and the Baldur's Gate 3 release date is creeping up (it'll be here before you know it). Read on below for all the details you need to know about the upcoming Larian Studios RPG and to watch a trailer.

We now know that the Baldur's Gate 3 release date is 31st August 2023. As we've said many times before, the years fly by these days, so it'll hopefully feel like no time!
