There's a new beta update for the Battle.net launcher, which adds a new Home Page and Quick Launch buttons for recently played games! If you haven't already, switch to the beta branch of the desktop application from the launcher's settings menu and try it out today. The previous launcher (first/left) compared to the new menu (second/right).
Note the Last Played buttons on the left hand side of the banner. The new Home Page consolidates advertisements and recent news for various games, but the individual game pages look the same as before and can be returned to by clicking on their respective icons in the Favorites section of the banner.
The best feature of this update is the Last Played section, which adds quick launch icons for recently played games — automatically launching the game, without first navigating to its page. Mousing over the the quick launch icon will also tell you exactly what application is being launch (such as Public Test Realm (DF 10.0.7)), which is helpful in the case of multiple game versions, although these buttons are automated, so you can't set up a quick launch for both the PTR and Live versions of the same game, it will generate a quick launch button for Classic separate from Modern WoW.
The new Home Page consolidates recommendations, news, and updates for various games. Full patch notes can be seen below.
