Baldur's Gate 3 has a massive group of characters that you will learn to love and hate. Your relationships with these characters will undoubtedly shape their fate, as their happily ever afters are held entirely within the palm of your hand. Most of us probably want what's best for Gale, Karlach, Shadowheart, and so on, but one twisted individual recently set about trying to get every single character the worst possible ending they can in one playthough, heaping untold misery upon their poor, unsuspecting party.
First shared by IGN, this player shared every step of their run on the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit, detailing exactly what you need to do in order to make sure everyone has as bad of a time as physically possible. You may naturally think that this simply involves murdering everyone as soon as you come across them, as death is usually the worst ending you could give someone. However, sometimes there are fates worse than death, and u/Sparkism keeps certain people alive to "suffer the consequences of your actions."

For example, u/Sparkism's guide asks you to make sure to keep Lae'zal and Astarion alive as they're important for key decisions down the line that will make tormenting everyone you come across a lot of easier. Of course, there's a lot of murder and murder by proxy too, as the guide also tells you to leave Gale and Shadowheart to their fates when you meet them. It also encourgaes you to let the goblins kill Aradin and the gang, and to "nudge fate" in the correct direction if Aradin starts winning without your input.
There are two characters in the game that are spared u/Sparkism's wrath though, and that's Scratch
