The time for solving problems with songs might finally be here, as the announcement for the next Baldur's Gate 3 event is hinting that the bard class will arrive in the next patch. Baldur's Gate 3 uses D&D 5e rules and already features most of the classes from the Player's Handbook, but the game is still in Early Access, and it has been gradually adding content over time, including classes.
As of the time of writing, the D&D classes that are available in Baldur's Gate 3 are the barbarian, druid, cleric, fighter, ranger, rogue, sorcerer, warlock, and wizard. These classes are also missing subclasses from the Player's Handbook, so they're not fully represented in the game. This means that the remaining Player's Handbook classes that need to be added to Baldur's Gate 3 are the bard, paladin, and monk, all of which are popular with the fans, and are highly-anticipated additions to the game. It's unclear whether the remaining subclasses will be added to Baldur's Gate 3, but developer Larian Studios seems poised to at least bring the remaining classes to the game.

The most recent class that was added to Baldur's Gate 3 was the barbarian back in February. Larian Studios is finally ready to announce the next update for Baldur's Gate 3, as the official Larian Studios Twitter page has announced a Panel from Hell event, which will be held at 10 AM PST / 7 PM CEST on July 7, 2022. The picture for the announcement has fans speculating that a bard announcement is on the way, as the event is being held in a music theatre, and the P in the word Panel has a feathered cap hanging from it, which is a piece of clothing associated with bards.
