Avengers: Infinity War actress Ariana Greenblatt has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' Barbie movie. Starring Margot Robbie as the eponymous doll and Ryan Gosling as her love interest, Ken, Barbie is being directed by the Oscar-nominated helmer Greta Gerwig. WB has been trying to develop the movie since 2009, but it was only until recently that things began to take shape. Right now, the plot details are unclear, but as per rumors, Barbie will follow Robbie's heroine on her journey of self-discovery after she is ousted from Barbieland for «not being perfect enough.» Lately, Barbie has been growing its ensemble with several noted stars joining the movie one after another.
Now, Deadline reports that Ariana Greenblatt, who rose to prominence for playing a young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity Wars, has also boarded the cast of Barbie. Greenblatt will star alongside Robbie and Gosling, as well as the recently announced Simu Liu, America Ferrara, and Kate McKinnon. As with the rest of the supporting cast, WB is also keeping Greenblatt's role under the wraps and the actress too is decidedly coy about her role in the movie. But for fans who can't wait to catch the young star on screen, she will soon appear in Eli Roth's Borderlands adaptation, as well as the Adam Driver-fronted sci-fi thriller 65.

With only a little known about the upcoming Barbie movie, it is hard to make something out of Greenblatt's casting.
