Atlus has a lengthy and respectable pedigree, and it makes sense to trot that out every so often to remind people just how long they’ve been around, and what they’ve accomplished. Announced today, Shin Megami Tensei 30th Live: Band of Shadows Concert is going to do just that. Held at The Novo in Los Angeles on July 1, 2023, Atlus is calling this the “first ever live anniversary concern for Atlus in the west,” and will provide an evening of “musical performances from the Shin Megami Tensei series.” It’s a collaboration between Atlus, the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, soundtrec (a live concert production company), and Soho Live (a Tokyo-based music agency).
Okay so the cat is out of the bag, but unfortunately some info is still TBA. Atlus says that ticket cost and the date when tickets will actually go on sale will be revealed later on. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out and update you when this happens! You can also subscribe to the newsletter on the official site to get up to date info.
Seeing SMT get some love like this in the west is a bit shocking, especially when Atlus could have held yet another Persona concert. You love to see it.
