Ubisoft and the Assassin’s Creed Community are currently celebrating the franchise’s 15th anniversary by looking at past and future games. Ubisoft will host an event in September that looks at the future of the franchise, with many hoping for news on the rumored or reported Assassin’s Creed Rift, Infinity, Nexus, and/or an AC1 Remake there.
It remains to be seen, but Ubisoft has outlinedAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s future pretty well. It is getting a roguelike game mode called The Forgotten Saga sometime this summer, and a final chapter of free content before the end of this year. There’s a lot to look forward to, it seems, but there’s still a lot to be discovered too. For example, one AC fan recently found a cool Easter egg for AC Origins’ Bayek and Aya in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

As pointed out by Redditor veico_cm, there appears to be a reference to Bayek and Aya’s Bathhouse scene in AC Valhalla’s Lunden. Many may recall that the Hidden Blade is gifted to Bayek by Aya, who then uses it to assassinate the Snake in a bathhouse in Alexandria. Afterward, the lovers spend an intimate night together on top of a building before Bayek goes on to assassinate other members of the Order of the Ancients and Aya begins her work for Cleopatra.
In Lunden, there appears to be an old Roman building that shares a striking similarity to the one that Bayek and Aya appear on. There appears to be some pillows, hay, flower, and cups here that are also reminiscent of the Bayek and Aya scene, but what really seals the deal is a nearby door. Players are able to find a key in this location, called the Lovers House Key, that opens said door.
