Assassin's Creed Red Will Sneak onto PS5 by March 2025 | Push Square
It looks like it’s going to a big year of build-up for Assassin’s Creed Red, as Ubisoft has confirmed its feudal Japan open world isn’t far away. Speaking overnight as part of its quarterly sales report, the French publisher announced that the anticipated PS5 outing will arrive by the end of March 2025, which means it could actually be locked for this holiday.
As part of the same presentation, the organisation also announced that Star Wars Outlaws will launch by the end of 2024.
“Moving forward, we’re gearing up for a very promising line-up for fiscal year 2025, including the upcoming release of Star Wars Outlaws in 2024, which should be a major milestone in the video game industry, especially given the undeniable appeal of this legendary franchise that will be coming for the first time to the open world territory, as well as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, set in the long-awaited feudal Japan universe,” said bigwig Yves Guillemot.
Assassin’s Creed games tend to be tentpole holiday releases, so even though Ubisoft has given itself some breathing room with the March 2025 target, we’ll be surprised if this doesn’t arrive in November. The only potential wild card here is Star Wars Outlaws, because that game is trending incredibly well, and feels like it could be a major Christmas title, too.

I'm glad we have ronin ,stellar blade and final fantasy 7 rebirth,Tekken and like a dragon. Western games isn't fun anymore. I got games for the PS2 fall of max pain ,PS3 final fantasy X and x'2 hd and lord of the rings war of the north x360. Geez those games are a hell of a lot better than what we're getting here.
Can they please bring back multiplayer, it would be a missed opportunity if they don’t bring it back with a ninja twist or something. running on rooftops and stealthing with smoke would be dope. AC3
