Assassin’s Creed Mirage had a great showing at Sony’s latest PlayStation Showcase where we got to take a look at the gameplay and crucially, we were finally given a confirmed release date.
The latest in a long line of historical epics sees the game return to its roots with stealth and its signature core gameplay mechanics taking centre stage with the sprawling RPG elements of recent entries taking a backseat.
Creative director Stéphane Boudon puts it as a «modern take on the iconic Assassin's Creed gameplay experience… something we think both long-time and new fans alike will be eager to play».
If you’re excited to revisit what made the original games so special then be sure to learn everything there is. Fortunately, we have all the information you could shake a stick at, so read on below for everything you need to know about the Assassin's Creed Mirage release date, story details, setting, and more.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will release on 12th October 2023.
Alongside a glimpse at the gameplay features and world, the release date was revealed to us at PlayStation Showcase in May 2023 and lines up with previous rumours that the game was internally delayed from August to some time in the autumn. Finally having a solid date for release gives us hope that Ubisoft is on track.
Hopefully, there won’t be any further delays but if there are any unexpected snaggles along the road, we’ll be sure to update you.
