Apple Music's free trial period for new subscribers has been reduced from three months to one month. While Apple is primarily known as a hardware company, it also offers several subscription services, such as Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple Music. The last mentioned is one of the largest music streaming services in the world alongside the likes of Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, etc.
Until now, Apple Music had been offering a generous three-month trial period to new subscribers worldwide. The time frame was longer than its competitors' typically offered and allowed would-be customers to evaluate the service better. That, however, is now changing, with the company reportedly cutting down that period from three months to one.

Starting this week, people signing up for Apple Music only get one month of free trial instead of the three months that users earlier received. The change is believed to have been first spotted by Japanese tech blog Mac Otakara, which says the change is being implemented across most major markets for Apple, including the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Japan and more. The change is yet to be officially announced by Apple, but the Apple Music homepage now says, «Get 75 million songs free for 1 month.» Thankfully, there's no apparent change in the monthly subscription rate, with the company still charging $9.99 per month for its music streaming service.
