The predecessor of the much hyped smartphone, iPhone SE 2020, came out in 2020 and was priced at Rs. 39,900, making it the most affordable iPhone in Apple’s lineup. The iPhone SE 2022 is going to be a lot cheaper than the previous generation, if the leaks are to be believed. According to reports, the iPhone SE 3 with 5G support may just cost $300. A rough exchange puts it just under Rs. 23,000. However, the final price for the smartphone can be a lot different. But in any case, the SE series will continue to be affordable as it is supposed to be the entry-level iPhone.
According to multiple reports and Apple tipsters, the iPhone SE 2022 will be based on the retro iPhone 8 design. The smartphone is expected to feature a 4.7-inch LCD display, and will lack either an AMOLED screen or any high refresh rate, which has become more frequent in this price segment.
