Ant Workshop receives seven-figure investment

Today developer Ant Workshop announced that it has received a seven-figure investment from Chroma Ventures.
The Edinburgh-based studio said that the funding will go towards the development of its title Dungeon Golf.
The eight person game developer also intends to expand its development team as well.
In addition to the funding announcement, Chroma Venture's Paddy Burns and Chris van der Kuyl will join Ant Workshop's board of directors.
"I'm incredibly excited for the future and what Ant Workshop will be able to achieve with Chroma Ventures' investment," said Ant Workshop founder Tony Gowland.
"It not only allows our team to focus exclusively on making our new IP and games the very best they can be, but enables us to tap into the vast experience Chris and Paddy bring, both in terms of developing games and businesses."
Gowland, who in his 20 year career has worked at various studios such as Rockstar Games and Activision Blizzard, founded Ant Workshop in 2015.
The developer has gone on to create titles such as Binaries, Taps Aff, and Dead End Job.
