A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has created an unfortunate wedding scenario for the NPC Gulliver, with his spouse-to-be leaving him at the altar. While many players of Animal Crossing create movie designs, TV recreations, and even builds from other games within the Nintendo hit, others opt for roleplaying scenarios to give more story and narrative to the ACNH's many characters.
Animal Crossing's huge range of decorative items and design tools give users the ability to bring their ideas to life, offering the opportunity to create anything from fun restaurant designs to large castles. While the game gives lots for creative designers, many have criticized the title for a lack of meaningful gameplay, which extends to its hundreds of villagers and NPCs. Some characters, like the Able Sisters, have a deep and meaningful family history which is explored through conversations with them, but the histories of characters like Celeste or Blathers aren't so well-developed. This has led many to create their own Animal Crossing backstories, designing their island to match with the histories of their characters.

Redditor and Animal Crossing player Symmetra_NaCI has created their own story for Gulliver which sees the unfortunate character left at the altar by his mean crew. The user has cleverly placed custom paths and a range of wedding items that stem from Gulliver's sleeping position on the beach, making it appear as though the seagull is either down-and-out after being left at the altar, or perhaps had a little too much to drink during the festivities.
