A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizonshas shared a gameplay clip of NPC Celeste seemingly possessed thanks to a range of spooky items placed by the user. Animal Crossing's Happy Home Paradise DLC gives fans more creative freedom than ever when it comes to designing homes, and players can even create the perfect vacation home design for Animal Crossing NPCs, as well as their favorite villagers.
Animal Crossing received its last substantial game update in November last year, introducing lots of new content to the base game. New Horizons also received its first and last paid DLC expansion, Happy Home Paradise, which puts fans to work as a Paradise Planner, designing vacation getaway homes for the title's many characters. The DLC also introduces lots of new ways to design the perfect property, with easier and faster ways to renovate, as well as new items, and even additional features such as the polishing tool, which can be used to create custom animated designs in Animal Crossing.

Redditor and Animal Crossing fan Musicfanatic75 has surprised players of the game with a video showcasing a seemingly-possessed Celeste. The gameplay clip shows the player placing Celeste into their newly-completed Happy Home Paradise build, only for Celeste to immediately tremble and quake in front of the user's bubbling cauldron. The reaction is one fans should recognize as one of the Halloween Reactions, Haunt, but it's not one typically seen from NPCs outside of the October 31 event. Celeste's possessed-like response comes from the player's careful choice of furniture and items, which gives a spooky vibe that Celeste is reacting to.
