It took Reddit user tarajsimpson1500 hours of playing over the course of four years to finally finish all the Nook Achievements in The Redditor started their island when the game launched and has played the game nearly every day since then, slowly working their way up toward completing the achievements.
According to tarajsimpson, the final achievement they got was the «Relentless Meister,» which required them to craft 3,000 tools. This meant having to wait for the tools to break and then crafting new ones. The Redditor cites the lockdown as part of the way they were able to get some of the achievements completed so quickly.
Nook Miles in are an in-game currency that players can redeem for items and rewards. These Miles can be earned as rewards for completing achievements like catching a certain number of bugs or fish, planting trees and flowers, decorating the house, and more. There are 87 achievements in the game, and each has up to six subcategories to complete, making the grand total of all the achievements in the game over 300.
