Ahead 's release, many players have wondered about the status of the DLCs that were announced to be included with specific editions of the game, as updates from the GSC Game World team have been rather sparse. Many concerns about the timing of DLC releases can be alleviated by the season pass that will be available after launch, allowing players to purchase a single pass rather than stacking up microtransactions with each pack's release.
Although these DLC packs were announced several months prior to 's official release date announcement, it has finally been confirmed by the GSC Game World team that the current two narrative expansions will be available alongside a season pass for future DLC expansions. Aside from the cosmetic and weapon downloadable extras being available with higher editions of, a bonus side quest and two end-game story expansions, and, will be available for players on launch.

For those who are not as keen on increasing their budget for some of the expanded editions, developers for have confirmed that there are plans to release more story add-ons in addition to the DLC expansions that will be available at launch.
