The iPhone 14 series is going to be the most exciting one in years for several reasons including major feature upgrades and the addition of a new model iPhone 14 Max. And in the series, the most popular one is likely the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Apple expects its most expensive iPhone will have the highest demand while the iPhone 14 Max is lowest. In fact, Apple itself does not expect iPhone 14 Max demand to be too high. The details are based on the information shared by display analyst Ross Young about the panel production and shipments in June-September. He shared that initially, the display of the iPhone 14 Max witnessed late production due to supply chain issues. He tweeted, “Pro Max is the highest. Max is lowest, but is gaining a lot of ground in September.”
He is also quoted by Forbes as saying that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the highest share of panel production at 29 percent and shipments at 28 percent. He also informed that the iPhone 14 Max has 21 percent of production and 19 percent of shipments but is expected to make “up a lot of ground in September.”
Earlier this year, Ross Young claimed delay in the production of the iPhone 14 Max due to some supply chain issues. The iPhone 14 Max is speculated to feature a 6.7-inch. It has killed off the iPhone mini model. This means Apple fans will get a relatively bigger screen at a lower price. Meanwhile, Apple will reportedly unveil the iPhone 14 lineup a little earlier than usual this year and break from the trend over the recent years. The iPhone 14 lineup will be launched on September 7 along with other devices. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, stated that the new line up will go on sale from Sept. 16 —about a week after the launch. He wrote,
