Apple is planning major changes for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models in terms of hardware as well as the internals powering the handset. We are expecting a new Action Button, grade 5 titanium finish, and a faster A17 Bionic processor based on TSMC's 3nm process. With all of these changes, the company is expected to increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max. Altogether, these changes will add up to the total cost and if Apple aims to maintain or increase its profit margins, it will have to increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models. Other than this, the company is also replacing the Mute Switch with an Action Button that will offer a brand-new user experience.
Tim Long suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro could see a price increase of $100 while the iPhone 15 Pro Max could see a price increase of up to $200. Currently, the iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is priced at $1,099. Check out the expected prices for the entire iPhone 15 lineup below.
