A new trailer for Among Us VR has been released, revealing what exactly Impostors see when they are «venting.» The original Among Us came out in 2018 and has been a go-to party game for millions of players ever since. It's a sci-fi spin on the game Mafia, where players attempt to figure out who among their group is a traitor.
Following the indie game's explosive rise to prominence in 2020, developer Innersloth began expanding in new and remarkable ways. Arguably the most drastic change to the core experience was announced in December 2021, when Innersloth revealed that it was working on a VR mode for Among Us. This immersive new gameplay style is a radical departure from the base game's overhead camera angle, and the announcement has left many fans wondering how Innersloth will implement it with regards to features like venting, which has historically served as a sneaky way for Impostors to get an edge on their victims.

The new gameplay trailer from Innersloth gives fans a glimpse into the gameplay of Among Us VR, as well as a glimpse into what exactly Impostor players can see in the vents. In the original game, Imposter players can see the immediate area around them before deciding if they want to come out. This appears to stay true in Among Us VR, but now with an entirely different perspective granted by the immersive first-person view of VR.
