Among Us is getting another big update today with release v2022.03.29, which is adding new social features and console-exclusive costumes. The hit multiplayer deception game is receiving a new friends list feature, which has been a common request since the game went viral in late 2020. If someone wanted to continue to play with someone they had met in an online match, they would have to rely on an outside source, like Discord, to stay in touch. The lack of a first-party social hub led many to seek third-party alternatives like Among Us' Better CrewLink mod.
