Alyssa Milano has finally learned she inspired the name of Star-Lord's ship in Guardians of the Galaxy, and she's pretty amazed by it. Milano has long been a television mainstay ever since she starred on the 1984 sitcom Who's The Boss? starting when she was 11. These days, she's perhaps best known for playing Phoebe Halliwell on Charmed, though she's also starred in shows such as Melrose Place and Mistresses. Still, it's safe to say that it was Who's the Boss? — or perhaps even the 1985 film Commando — that led to her being a subtle, but key part of Guardians of the Galaxy.
As a James Gunn film, the 2014 MCU installment was always going to feature some exciting Easter eggs for fans to pick up on, and one of them involved Milano. Guardians of the Galaxy, which served as the big screen introduction of Marvel Comics' eccentric team, features a spaceship belonging to roguish hero Star-Lord, aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt). It's named the Milano, after Quill's childhood crush… Alyssa Milano.

Screen Rant recently got the chance to talk to Milano about her new Netflix film Brazen, which gave us the opportunity to ask her about her thoughts on Guardians of the Galaxy's shoutout. It turns out that, prior to the interview, she didn't even know Star-Lord's ship was named after her. "I had NO idea," she said. Armed with that knowledge that she's a key part of the MCU, Milano said:
It's pretty cool. It is. It is pretty cool. One of the more cool things, I think, that's happened in my life.
Seeing as Star-Lord was nabbed by Yondu (Michael Rooker) and the Ravagers in 1988, he only had the opportunity to see Milano in a few projects. He would probably be gratified to know
