Alliances and Deadpool's Diner Limited Time Mode Coming to Marvel Snap Later this Month
Marvel Snap’s latest season is focused on everyone’s favorite Merc With a Mouth, Deadpool. Titled Maximum Effort, there’s more than just the typical new Season Pass card, cosmetics, and other card releases on offer this time around.
A limited time event and game mode called Deadpool’s Diner will go live later this month and players can earn the Cassandra Nova card by participating in the event. Later on, Second Dinner will introduce Alliances and a number of other limited time events as well, including Jeff Week, which appears to be the game’s version of Shark Week.
On the Season Pass side of things, Maximum Effort’s latest Season Pass card is Gwenpool, a four cost, six power card with the On Reveal ability to hit up to three random cards in the player’s hand with +2 Power. This can hit the same target numerous times, which has opened up deck designs for some interesting synergies, including with Black Panther and Sebastian Shaw, two fun cards that don’t get as much play as they should.
Looking ahead to August, Second Dinner has teased the upcoming Young Avengers season, featuring fan favorite characters such as Hawkeye Kate Bishop. The new season will release on August 6.
