With Moon Knight coming to an end, the focus will shift to what's next with the MCU shows set to release on Disney+. While Marvel Studios has stayed true to the «cinematic» aspect of the franchise with a continued effort to expand its list of films, which is nearing the 30 mark, there's been a clear priority in building the TV slate of programming. Moon Knight marked the sixth series set in the MCU and, subsequently, Phase 4, which has been a gamechanger for franchise storytelling.
Sharing the stories of new and lesser-known heroes has been a major aspect of Disney+'s MCU slate, with Moon Knight being a prime example. Oscar Isaac's portrayal of Marc Spector/Steven Grant brought a new level of emotion to the franchise by presenting traumatized figure who serves as an unorthodox superhero. The MCU will continue to feature the return of familiar faces while following the Moon Knight approach of introducing franchise newcomers through characters like Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Werewolf by Night.

Though Marvel still has non-MCU plans, such as the X-Men '97 animated reboot, the bulk of upcoming projects will reside in the core franchise. Moon Knight was the first MCU series to debut in 2022, but it won't be the last. In fact, Disney+ has an impressive list of MCU shows to come after Moon Knight to come in Phase 4 and beyond.
