Since its announcement a little over year ago, we haven’t seen an awful lot of Aliens: Dark Descent, but thanks to its promise of frantic squad-based single player action and, of course, the fact that it’s an Alien game has been enough to turn a few heads. Now, with not long left until its launch, it has hit a major milestone in its development.
Taking recently to Twitter, publisher Focus Entertainment announced that Aliens: Dark Descent has gone gold, which means developer Tindalos Interactive has wrapped up principal development. While work on polishing the experience will presumably continue, the developer has its master code ready, and any fixes or changes made now will likely arrive in the form of pre-launch or day one patches.
Aliens: Dark Descent is due out on June 20 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will cost $39.99- check out more details about its pre-order bonuses through here.
