The open-world just got some new things to do in Albion Online as the Horizons update is now live. Designed to expand the options in the open world, add PvE offerings like dungeon changes and mob camps, and make venturing out to even further-out corners more rewarding.
The update introduces Tier 5 Blue and Tier 6 Yellow zones in the Royal Continent, Designed to offer valuable content a little more advanced but not quite at the level of the deadlier regions. Dynamic Encampments also present some challenges, as limited-time mob camp spawns that offer loot, Favor, and Might for completion. Dynamic Resource Hotspots Are also out there and offer an abundance of resources for a short period of time. Also to be found are Coffers, which give you rewards if you find them, and Lair Maps to you the way to a hidden boss lair. The update also features a big customization update, including a new HUD editor, custom layouts and quick settings presets that let you switch between your custom settings.
