AFK Journey Welcomes Chains of Eternity Update Complete With New Characters and New Wintery Zones
The team at Farlight Games has launched the latest update, Chains of Eternity, for AFK Journey. The update intends to expand the story, add new heroes to collect, new zones, and plenty of rewards for players to earn.
For those that haven't caught up in AFK Journey for a bit, you might find something to come back for with the Chains of Eternity update which introduces Cedartown's Snowspire Festival in the Duchy of Whiteridge. As an extension of the story, players will unravel a dark mystery through the new winter-inspired zones and take part in a few fresh enemies as well. Players will still need to be at resonance level 240 to take part in the latest season, but for seasoned adventurers, you'll be able to hop in right away. New players and those that haven't logged in for a while will benefit from a catch-up system that should breeze you through to the latest content in no time and get you invested in the game's vibrant community.
New characters will include a new Graveborn Warrior named Valka and a well known Wilder character Lorsan who will be joining your team as support. To give you a little bit more of a boost, the team at Farlight has also introduced a new seasonal reward code AFKJICESEASON.
Finally, the update will also add plenty of QoL features to the game such as a skip battle feature in Honor Duel, removing some of the multi-team AFK stages in the starter story and Infinite Quest game modes with Single Team stages, and redesigning Dura's Trials so that the featured heroes of each trial match will earn special skills.
