As the summer comes to a close, game companies like Microsoft are holding last minute sales in hopes of boosting their quarterly revenue before the end of the fiscal year. Activision Blizzard is another such company. It just announced the Battle.net Game Deals sale, offering huge discounts on games across its many franchises.
The Game Deals sale is offering discounts ranging up to 67% off select titles, including Diablo, Starcraft, and Call of Duty. The sale won’t last long, however. It kicked off on August 30th, and only runs until September 5th.
Amazon Gaming Week Kicks Off With Big Deals and Discounts
There are some gems hidden in this sale. Both Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 3 are available for cheap, and Starcraft Remastered and Starcraft 2 can each be purchased for less than $10. Several Call of Duty titles are also heavily discounted: Vanguard is 50% off, while Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Black Ops Cold War are all 67% off. Many of Activision Blizzard’s other products, like Crash Bandicoot 4 and its Arcade Collection, are also available at a discount.
This sale coincides with the announcement of the Wrath of the Lich King Classic Northrend Upgrades. These optional packs provide additional resources for players interested in playing World of Warcraft Classic’s newest expansion reboot, including a level boost, pet, toy, and mounts for both Classic and Retail WoW. Unfortunately, the Northrend Epic and Heroic Upgrades are not discounted during the Game Deals sale.
