Activate Archeology Bonus in Mythic+ Vortex Pinnacle for Health and Mana Regen Buff
The Vortex Pinnacle is one of the hardest dungeons in the current Mythic+ dungeon pool, and there is a way to make it slightly easier -a forgotten buff that was once a part of the original Cataclysm dungeon.
Archeology Buff in Vortex PinnacleThe dungeon buff we are referring to is Whisper of the Djinn, obtainable just prior to crossing the bridge leading towards the first boss of the dungeon Grand Vizier Ertan. You need a special item called Tol'vir Hieroglyphic, which you can obtain either from Archaeology or through the Auction House.
Once you have the Tol'vir Hieroglyphic, you will be able to interact with Magical Brazier. Upon returning the Tol'vir Hieroglyphic, the whole party will receive Whisper of the Djinn buff that persist through death. Only one person needs to interact with Magical Brazier and have Tol'vir Hieroglyphic. You DO NOT need Archaeology to be able to interact with the Magical Brazier, as long as you have the Tol'vir Hieroglyphic, you are good to go! The Magical Brazier will not indicate a quest return if you do not have the Tol'vir Hieroglyphic, so don't forget to get one prior to entering the dungeon. Remember to face the Lurking Tempest to prevent him from casting. LocationThere is only one Magical Brazier in the whole instance, located right from the bridge, leading towards Grand Vizier Ertan.
