If you're looking to avoid the upcoming Disney+ price hike, the streaming service has a limited-time offer for new and returning streamers.
As reported by Engadget, a Disney+ Basic subscription is now just $2 per month for three months from now until Sept. 20. This offer is valid for new and returning subscribers in the US. This tier usually costs $7.99 per month, so you could save up to $18 if you were thinking of signing up for the streaming service.
The ad-supported Basic tier launched in December 2022 for those who didn’t want to spend $10.99 on the Premium ad-free tier. There’s been no price increase to the Basic subscription since then, but the Premium service will go up to $13.99 per month on Oct. 12.
If you ditched Disney+ in the past and have been thinking about returning to check out Ahsokaor revisit some Marvel favorites, this might be the push you need.
According to Statista, Disney+ subscribers worldwide fell from 164.2 million in Q4 2022 to 146.7 million in Q3 2023, the third dip since the service's launch in November 2019.
