The Avengers just survived a brutal attack from the Multiversal Masters of Evil, leading to one of the Deathlok's getting a massive Celestial upgrade. In Avengers #54 by Marvel Comics, Jane Foster's Valkyrie manages to save a Deathlok from near-certain death by plugging the cyborg hero directly into their Celestial headquarters. However, in the process, she inadvertedly gave Deathlok an upgrade making him inhabit the body of the hollowed-out space god.
To stop the Multiversal Masters of Evil from destroying the Multiverse, the still-to-be-revealed Avenger Prime sent Deathloks across time to protect and warn the different timelines. While some of the Avengers deal with an attack from the evil alt-universe villains, the other team members are left fighting for survival in their Celestial headquarters, as Thanos and Doctor Doom's attack leveled their base with bombs. The bombing seemingly left the Deathlok working with Namor, Black Panther, and Valkyrie dead, but Jane Foster just gave the reality-hopping hero a Celestial upgrade to save his life.

In Avengers #54 by Jason Aaron, Juan Frigeri, David Curiel, and VC's Cory Petit, Namor, and Black Panther hold up pieces of their damaged Celestial base, allowing Jane Foster to get to Deathlok. Believing Deathlok has been killed, the Multiversal Masters of Evil continue their conquest hopping to a new reality.
