A speedrunner has beaten Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice blindfolded in just over two hours.
As part of this weekend’s Awesome Games Done Quick event, streamer Mitchriz completed the notoriously difficult game using only audio cues to guide him.
The run, which was so popular that the terms “Sekiro” and “blindfolded” trended on Twitter in both the US and UK, saw thousands of people watch in disbelief as Mitchriz battled his way through bosses that many spent hours on, defeating them in some cases without taking any damage at all.
Mitchriz, who speedruns Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice often, actually beat the game in less than two hours while blindfolded at the end of 2021, but this is the first time he has accomplished the feat on such a large stage, as part of the incredibly popular Awesome Games Done Quick charity event.

The event also announced that it had beaten its personal best for the most total money raised in a single Games Done Quick event.
$3,416,729,85 was raised for Prevent The Cancer Foundation This event also saw the charity beat its records for the fastest to raise $1 million, and $2 million.
