On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Ben Rathbun is still seeking Mahogany, but his journey feels disingenuous, and it could be because he’s angling to get on another 90 Day Fiancé show. It seems like Ben has ulterior motives for being on the show that go further than just wanting to boost his modeling career. There are several signs that indicate Ben has set his sights on 90 Day: The Single Life season 3, and due to rumors that the spin-off has already started production on the next season, Ben may have already been tapped.
After spending most of his life in a strict religious environment, Ben has been trying to follow his heart this season, which he claims lies with his Peruvian love Mahogany. But fans have little sympathy for Ben. There are huge red flags with Mahogany and it’s frustrating to Ben’s friends, family, and viewers that he doesn’t see them. Recently Ben arrived in Peru, even though Mahogany was sending signals that she doesn’t want to meet him. However, many fans have grown suspicious about whether Ben and Mahogany’s story is real or if it’s as fake as Mahogany’s filters.

It’s pretty hard for viewers to believe that Ben fell for Mahogany’s obvious catfish scam because Ben has revealed that he was catfished before in an almost identical way. Clearly, he should be familiar with the warning signs, but like fellow franchise star David Murphey, Ben showed up in Peru with no plan, wandering around like a John Travolta Pulp Fiction meme.
